LAM TSOI-YEH's sole purpose in life is to protest; whereas rich kid YAU TIN's sole purpose in life is to keep idling. YAU TIN suddenly receives an emergency call from his mother and returns to Hong Kong, and it turns out that his father, YAU CHEUNG, is dying. On the other hand, TSOI-YEH is also called back to Hong Kong by his mother because his father, LAM CHI-WING, has become seriously ill. YAU CHEUNG sends his secretary SNOOPY and bodyguard MO DIK to assist YAU TIN. So the two lead YAU TIN to their Useful Store flagship shop with an over 30 years history in the industry located in a shopping mall. Thinking it's too small, YAU TIN plans to drive away its adjacencies so as to expand the store. With the Useful Store announcing a public recruitment event, DUMPLING intends to apply for a job together with his godson MA LEI-AH.… ...
When lazy second-generation heir Yau Tin, takes over the grocery store inside the building, he overhauls it and hires all the residents in the building to work there. But soon environmentalist and stock boy, Lam Joi-yeh, leads a revolt against Yau Tin when he puts up a huge poster against the building that affects the residents' quality of life.
